What is Subnetting?
Subnetting is the process of dividing an IP network into smaller logical networks called subnets.
It allows network administrators and infrastructure teams to organize IP address space more efficiently and control how devices and systems communicate.
Subnetting is commonly used in enterprise networks, cloud environments, Kubernetes, VPNs, routing, firewalls and infrastructure architecture.

Understanding the Results
Network Address identifies the beginning of the subnet.
Broadcast Address identifies the last address in an IPv4 subnet and is traditionally used to communicate with all hosts in that subnet.
Subnet Mask determines which portion of the IPv4 address represents the network and which portion represents hosts.
Wildcard Mask is the inverse of the subnet mask and is commonly used in routing and access-control configurations.
Host Bits represents the number of bits available for host addressing.
Usable Hosts represents the number of addresses traditionally available for devices within the subnet.
