What is CIDR?
CIDR stands for Classless Inter-Domain Routing. It is a method used to represent IP networks using an IP address followed by a prefix length.
For example, 192.168.1.0/24 means that the first 24 bits identify the network, while the remaining 8 bits are available for host addresses.
CIDR is widely used in network design, cloud environments, Kubernetes, VPNs, routing, firewalls and infrastructure planning.

Understanding the Results
Network Address identifies the beginning of the network.
Broadcast Address identifies the last address in an IPv4 subnet and is traditionally used to communicate with all hosts in that subnet.
Subnet Mask represents the network portion of the IPv4 address in dotted-decimal notation.
Wildcard Mask is the inverse of the subnet mask and is commonly used in routing and access-control configurations.
Usable Hosts represents the number of addresses traditionally available for hosts. For standard IPv4 networks, the network and broadcast addresses are normally excluded.
For /31 and /32 networks, the calculator applies the commonly used point-to-point and host-specific conventions.
